Lauren Alaina shared the sweet gender reveal for Baby No. 1.
The Georgia-born country star debuted her growing baby bump in a surprise pregnancy announcement last week. Alaina released her newest single, “Those Kind Of Women,” and its full circle music video that’s dedicated to “my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025.” This is Alaina’s first child with husband Cam Arnold. They got married last year in a stunning ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee.
Alaina’s gender reveal for Baby No. 1 is set to “Those Kind Of Women.” The video begins in black-and-white, and offers a glimpse of the parents-to-be with their pets. They leave painted paw prints on a canvas, shown with a little cowboy hat and sonogram images as the video brightens into color to reveal either pink or blue paint:
It’s a girl!
Alaina confirmed with the gender reveal on Tuesday (January 28) that she’s expecting a daughter this summer. Though she hasn’t publicly shared her baby girl’s name yet, Alaina said in an interview with PEOPLE that she and Arnold have selected a name that’s inspired by a family member. Alaina said at that time that she couldn’t believe “I can love something that I haven't even really held yet.”
The former American Idol contestant opened up about her pregnancy on The Kelly Clarkson Show one day after releasing “Those Kind Of Women” and announcing she’s expecting Baby No. 1. Alaina shared the emotional meaning behind her new single while speaking with Kelly Clarkson, and shared that she’ll be touring until she’s 34 weeks pregnant on Rascal Flatts’ 25th anniversary tour.
“We are overwhelmed with the love we have received for sweet Baby Arnold. Our baby is so loved already. Thank you for all the well wishes for our growing family🍼,” Alaina and Arnold shared after making the announcement.
Alaina is the latest country star to announce she’s expecting a child. others welcoming a baby into the family this year include Sam Hunt, Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter Emmy Russell, HARDY and more.
