Parker McCollum spins wife Hallie Ray Light McCollum on the dance floor of a historic Texas honky tonk in the music video he premiered on Wednesday (February 11).

The award-winning country star hit the stage and the dance floor at Billy Bob’s Texas, located in Fort Worth, in he Dustin Haney-directed visual for “Killin’ Me.” McCollum teamed up with Monty Criswell and Randy Rogers to write the “mid-tempo love song about being completely captivated by a woman who can ‘turn every head and stop a room on a dime.’” McCollum and his wife, who admitted in an Instagram post on Tuesday (February 10) that she was “so nervous,” “take a spin across a smokey dance floor where the world seems to fade away,” states a press release issued to announce the music video’s premiere.

“Killin’ Me” appeared on McCollum’s self-titled fifth studio record. The project released in June 2025, and will expand with new deluxe tracks on March 20.

“I feel like it’s all very self-reflective and just kind of being super honest with myself, and it’s kind of an easy way out of the question, but it’s really true,” the Texas-born country star said of his songwriting inspiration when catching up with iHeartCountry around the time his album arrived. “You know, just not trying to do anything other than whatever the hell it is that I do…however it is that I do sound like, and just letting that happen, exist, and kind of letting it rip whenever you get int he studio and stop worrying about it so much. …I really feel like I was able to just kind of stop giving a damn and be myself on a record…It worked better than anything else I’ve ever done.”

Hallie is pregnant with Baby No. 2, the couple announced on Christmas Day. Baby McCollum will join big brother Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, born in August 2024. Hallie shared in the announcement that “another BOY (is) joining us summer 2026!!!” Parker is one of several country artists welcoming a baby into the family this year, along with Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs, iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones and more. Parker is part of the star-studded lineup of the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival, along with Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, Riley Green, Shaboozey, Dylan Scott, Russell Dickerson, Gretchen Wilson, Chase Matthew and Lauren Alaina. iHeartRadio's Bobby Bones is returning as the event’s host. The show will take place on May 2 at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Tickets to the show are available as of January 23. Fans across the country will be able to catch all the action as the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival will be broadcast live across iHeartCountry stations nationwide and the free iHeartRadio app on Saturday, May 2nd at 8pm ET/5pm PT (7pm CT).
