Awkward Conversation? Try the "Solid Snake" Method

If you're bad at conversations and never know what to say, this method from Gen Z has been going viral.

The "Solid Snake method" has nothing to do with reptiles. It's named after a character from the game "Metal Gear Solid". And it's all about active listening.

He walks around in the game and talks to lots of people, but doesn't say much. He REPEATS other people's lines a lot. Like, someone says, "There's a minefield ahead"...and he responds with, "A minefield?"

The idea is you're showing the other person you're listening . . . and also keeping THEM talking, so you don't have to.

It's supposed to be a good fallback for when you're anxious or just don't know what to say.
