Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, debuted a stunning cover of “Beauty and the Beast” on Friday (April 3).

The duet appears on Main Street Country, a 5-track EP featuring modern country twists on classic Disney songs. The country installment of the music series follows A Whole New Sound, a successful collection of pop-punk renditions that arrived in September 2024. Kane and Katelyn performed the romanic ballad from Disney’s 1991 classic, Beauty and the Beast, along with other can’t-miss renditions by Restless Road (“The Climb” from Hannah Montana: The Movie), Dasha (“She’s So Gone” from Lemonade Mouth), Maddie & Tae (“You’ll Be in My Heart” from Tarzan), and BRELAND (“Go the Distance” from Hercules).

Catching up with iHeartCountry, Katelyn shared that she knew “hands down” she wanted to sing “Beauty and the Beast” for the project, and her husband agreed. “Disney music’s so magical,” Katelyn said. “It just has this happy, angelic, magical feel to every song.”

Kane and Katelyn are parents to three young children, daughters Kingsley Rose, 6, and Kodi Jane, 4, and son Krewe Allen, who turns 2 in June. Kane hailed his daughters “queens,” who inspired a newfound respect for iconic princess movies.

Though Kane and Katelyn’s “Beauty and the Beast” duet might seem like it’d be cool to their three young children, the couple admitted their kids don’t seem as enthused as one might expect. To them, Kane and Katelyn are just Mom and Dad. Katelyn told iHeartCountry that when she played the duet for the couple’s eldest daughter, “she didn’t think it was us. …She just thought I was playing the soundtrack to the movie,” she remembered. “Anything we do is not cool, but Mickey and Minnie are cool,” to the kids.

Kane and Katelyn released their first duet, “Thank God,” in 2022. They followed the award-winning, romantic ballad with “Body Talk” and “Do Us Apart,” both of which appeared on Kane’s 2025 studio record. Katelyn said in a statement that “it truly is a dream come true” to sing the Beauty and the Beast classic with her husband.
