I remember learning every word to her Redneck Woman or Here for the Party back in high school! I remember my favorite line was "I can buy the same damn thing on a WalMart shelf half price." Because honestly that was what most of my closet in high school consisted of... WalMart t-shirts! Haha
Gretchen Wilson is dropping a new single called "Summertime Town" off her next album Ready to Get ROWDY.
While the album arrives on Friday, June 16 the single shipped to country radio on Monday.
Wilson’s twelve-track album can be pre-ordered on iTunes and will feature her brand new single, “Summertime Town.”
"Sometimes a song idea is as simple as a great title," Wilson says in a statement about the new track. "When you picture a summertime town in your head, you begin to imagine the romance and the heartache that could be attached to a place like that."
Wilson co-wrote "Summertime Town" with Bridgette Tatum and Rob Hatch.
