The City of Cheyenne will have a spring clean up day on Saturday, June 10 which will allow city residents the ability to bring their unwanted items to the city’s Transfer Station for disposal, free of charge.
The transfer station, 220 North College Drive, will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day. Expect long lines between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. due to city trucks dumping during this period.
Free dumping is for city residents only. Residents will need to bring a copy of their Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities Water Bill or another utility bill with their address on it to qualify for free dumping. The bill must not be older than 90 days.
Residents are allowed to drop off up to four tires from a car or pickup, small appliances, refrigerators/freezers (must be certified they don’t contain Freon), household hazardous waste, and any other household trash.
