Wyoming RB Brian Hill met with Broncos

Brian Hill, former Wyoming running back, has met with the Broncos at NFL Combine according to Broncoswire.usatoday.com.

Here in Wyoming we are pretty excited that the first team Brian Hill met with was the Denver Broncos.  It would be great to have him close and you can’t find a better team than the Broncos (I’m biased haha).

However, we do have to remember that any running back with a college career 5.5 yards per carry will likely meet with a number of NFL teams.

“At the NFL Scouting Combine last week, where the Broncos met with Hill, he ran a 4.54 40-yard dash, a quick time considering he tips the scales at 220 pounds. Hill is fast, yes, but he’s also a bruising back who can carry the ball between the tackles. He never stops churning his legs, gaining yards after contact often, and could be the type of versatile back the Broncos need.

Will Denver draft Hill?

The Broncos have many needs — quarterback, offensive tackle, linebacker and tight end more pressing than running back — but bolstering that backfield which was a major weakness in 2016, would be a smart decision by John Elway and Co,” stated BroncosWire.
