The L.A. County Sheriff's Department released the findings of its investigation into the Tiger Woods car crash on February 23rd and determined that excessive speed caused the golfer to drive off the road.

According to the police accident report, which was publicly released after Tiger waived his right of privacy, his SUV was driving 83 mph in a 45 mph zone at the time of the crash. Law enforcement list speed as the sole cause of the crash and found no evidence that Tiger was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Woods suffered major injuries to his right leg, and underwent multiple surgeries. He is currently recovering at his home in Florida. (TMZ)
