Alan Jackson shared the first photo of his newborn fifth grandchild on Friday morning (July 10).
Jackson, 67, and his wife, Denise Jackson, sit side-by-side in the photo with newborn Samuel Hudson Carrington cradled in his grandmother’s arms. The “Remember When“ legend wrote in his caption on Instagram: “Denise and I are overjoyed to announce the birth of our fifth grandchild, Samuel Hudson Carrington (Hudson) born July 9 to Dani and her husband Sam.”
Jackson posted a photo on Christmas Day revealing that all three of his daughters — Mattie Denise Jackson Smith, 36, Alexandra “Ali” Jane Jackson Bradshaw, 32, and Dani Grace Jackson, 28 — were pregnant at the same time. The country star, who recently played his final concert in Nashville, became a grandfather for the first time when Bradshaw welcomed Jackson Alvie Bradshaw in December 2022. Smith welcomed son Wesley Alan Smith in June 2024, and she welcomed Baby No. 2, daughter Charlotte “Charlie” Ann Smith, in February. Bradshaw welcomed her second child, daughter Parker Anne Bradshaw, in April.
