Tutu Protests And Parties Break Out In Wyoming Over Senator's Remark

A tutu revolution is taking place here in Wyoming after Senator Mike Enzi told a group of students there last week that a man who walks into a bar wearing a ballerina's skirt "kind of asks for" a beatdown.

NPR reports that a #LiveAndLetTutu went viral on Friday, with several schools and municipalities planning tutu-wearing protests.

A "tutu pub crawl" even took place Friday night in downtown Laramie, the university town where 19-year-old Matthew Shepard was beaten to death in 1998 supposedly due to his sexual orientation.
