#ShowYourHeart with an Act of Kindness This April
Organ donation and transplantation is the ultimate act of kindness and generosity. Colorado and Wyoming are two of the most generous states in the country when it comes to signing up to be an organ, eye and tissue donor, and many in our community rely on that kindness to survive life threatening illness.
Without the kindness of 191 organ donors last year, 596 people right here in our community would not have gotten a second chance at life. Let’s show that love to our community by sharing an act of kindness this April!
How You Can #ShowYourHeart with an Act of Kindness:
Getting involved is easy! #ShowYourHeart for National Donate Life Month by performing an act of kindnessand get a free coffee.
1.PERFORM an act of kindness
2.SHARE your act of kindness on Facebook and TAG@DonateLifeColorado or @DonateLifeWyoming with #ShowYourHeart and get a free coffee.*
3.PASS IT ON by encouraging another’s act of kindness in support of organ, eye and tissue donation
* Facebook post must tag @DonateLifeColorado or @DonateLifeWyoming and be made public in order to receive your special code for a $5 gift card to Starbucks. Private posts are unable to be seen by @DonateLifeColorado or @DonateLifeWyoming and prevent facilitation of the offer.

Use Resources in Our Toolkit: We’ve created a toolkit to help you promote organ, eye and tissue donation in your area! We have social media graphics, stories of hope and more! Use these resources to help us bring awareness to the 2,000 people in our area who are waiting for a life-saving organ transplant.
Participate in Blue and Green Day:On Friday, April 17th, supporters of organ, eye and tissue donation around the United States will celebrate National Blue & Green Day as part of National Donate Life Month!
Come to an Event:During the month of April we’ll be at events all around Colorado and Wyoming! You can catch us at the Denver Auto Show, the Wyoming Donor Dash and at other special events throughout our two-state region. Stop by and see us for lots of fun and free Donate Life prizes!
