According to TIME, here are eight of the smartest ways parents can disable, protect or otherwise toddler-proof their most cherished electronic devices:

  • Disable the wi-fi.
  • Disable the Notifications and Today views in the lock screen.
  • Disable Control Center.
  • Enable the Do Not Disturb function (which disables incoming calls and alerts).
  • Enable Guided Access.
  • Disable multitasking gestures, like swipes.
  • Enable restrictions.
  • Put your device in a protective case (duh!).

My solution? Buy them their own.. Tablets are cheap these days! We did the Black Friday Nabi's a couple years ago.. Best idea EVER! :)
