The Albany County Relay For Life fundraiser will begin June 20 at 6 p.m. at Laramie High School.
This fundraiser raises money for the American Cancer Society and gives the opportunity to remember and honor those who have faced cancer according to the Relay For Life website.
This year over $18,000 has already been raised with 110 participants.
There will be a team set up at 3 p.m. before the relay begins.
During the Opening Ceremony everyone will be brought together and pumped up for the event. The survivors will take the first lap in the relay to celebrate how they have overcome cancer in the Survivors Lap at 6:15 p.m.
A Luminaria Ceremony will be a time to remember those that have been lost to cancer and will be at 9 p.m.
