(San Diego, CA)  --  Embattled San Diego Mayor Bob Filner is expected to resign.  Nearly 20 women have recently come forward, saying he sexually harassed them.  NBC San Diego reports the resignation is the result of a settlement proposal hammered out with the city council this week.  Filner recently returned to his job after seeking treatment, but could not escape intense political pressure and growing calls to step down.  A special election could be called within 60 to 90 days.  In the meantime, the city will likely pick an interim leader.
