Billy Ray Cyrus is teaming up with Dionne Warwick to promote their new collaboration.
The country star will join the R&B legend to perform "Hope Is Just Ahead" on CBS' "The Talk" on Wednesday.
Cyrus actually wrote the song more than a decade ago, following the Columbine High School shooting back in 1999. He says in linking "Hope" to the "Do The Write Thing - National Campaign to Stop Violence," the song "has now found its purpose."
Cyrus and Warwick are donating a portion of the money from sales of the single to the organization, which is geared toward students in an effort to prevent school violence.
Billy Ray will also perform the song at the 22nd Annual Movieguide Awards, airing on Reelz this Saturday. Dionne is not expected to join him for that appearance.
